Woodside Lodge accomodation

Blind in bedroom was broken. Bright lights outside our room.

Found it advertised as a B&B. It is bed only and no breakfast is offered. Beyond me how it is classed as 4star. Also expensive for not much in the way of service or extra comfort. Everything is quite standard. Feels more like an air b and b, very impersonal. Keys in lock box etc. No breakfast. No reception. No mini fridge to store bits and pieces. My partner also woke up with lots of bites on her scalp and around her neck, obviously cannot say if it was caused by the bed or not but nevertheless not a good sign. Overall disappointing. Over priced and not a 4 star. And really not a b&b even if you see it advertised that way.

Ubicacion, vistas, tamaño de la casa y de las estancias, tranquilidad, camas..... todo perfecto y le hubiera puesto un 10 si no fuera por la suciedad de la cocina.

La cocina estaba llena de grasa y anticuada... los utensilios pringosos y las sartenes para tirar. Es una pena porque con una buena limpieza a fondo y renovar lo que está inutilizable sería excelente. Tiene fácil solución. Si se hiciera me alojaría allí de nuevo sin duda.

Difficile de trouver un point appréciable, hormis le fait de ne pas être en plein centre mais légèrement à l'écart et donc au calme.

On est loin d'un hôtel 4 étoiles classique, on est plus proche d'un AirBnB, matériel vétuste (salle de bain ancienne, portes non isolées, murs fin) nous avons aussi été envahit d'insecte dans la salle de bain car la fenêtre était ouverte à notre arrivée.

It is room only, no breakfast available, Its self check in which I like. I was given the instructions the night before and I had no issues getting into the room. The room was clean and had tea/coffee available. No issue with noise and was in a peaceful area only 10/15 min walk into Westport town. Handy location for getting to Croagh Patrick Mountain.

The only thing for me was that there wasn't enough little shower bottles (only one tiny bottle per person). The window outside need to be cleaned as full of Spider webs and as it got darker, the outside window was covered in loads of spiders leading me to have to close the window and it was a warm summer night so it was warm in the room. Water pressure in the shower was not good.
