Hotel Marienplatz Podgorica

La ubicación.

No se le puede claudicar de tres estrellas. Parece un hotelucho. La entrada es un pasillo . La habitación no está mal. Pero en conjunto no parece un hotel. Parece una pensión.

Super locatie, gezellige omgeving, prima kamers, erg vriendelijk personeel. De bar op de benedenverdieping was erg gezellig en we hebben 's ochtends heerlijk kunnen ontbijten.

Hou er rekening mee dat de begane grond van het hotel een bar is. Voor ons was dit een pluspunt, maar voor gasten die een rustig verblijf zoeken hoor je tot laat de muziek.

I really liked the location, it’s excellent and very convenient. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the stay even more pleasant. I also found the price very affordable considering the quality of the services provided, so overall it offers great value for money.

The breakfast options were quite limited, mostly consisting of sausages and eggs. In the bathroom, the shower only had a fixed head, without a handheld option, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the room door didn’t seal properly, so it tended to rattle whenever there was a draft, which was a bit disturbing.

The location is very central. Everywhere is in walking distance, but I like discovering a city while walking, so other people might find it tiring, but you can walk to the Millenium Bridge in 15 minutes, to Gorica Hill in 15 minutes, Republic Square is only 3 minutes away. The breakfast is good, the room is clean, the bed and pillows are comfortable, the receptionist Angelica is helpful and friendly. The hotel is a concept hotel and above München bar, so it has witty sayings hanging on the walls about beer. Lastly, the wifi speed is very good.

A kettle in the room might be a good idea. There is no lift, so there is a flight of stairs to your room - about 20 steps, but thankfully Angelica helped me with my luggage. There is live music at night, but it is written in their welcome message, so no surprises there. You might hear it from your room, but I liked the liveliness it provided, so it didn't disturb me. Light sleepers should keep that in mind. The shower doesn't have a hand-held option, it is fixed on the wall. Adding a hand-held option might be a good idea for guests who might need to control water while showering because of medical reasons.
