Valletta Seafront Apartment

We didn’t stay there as it wasn’t what we expected

Dark stairwell. Just felt unwelcoming and odd layout.

Nice location. Big bedroom. Nice scenery.

No elevator. Dirty hallway. Tiny bathroom without curtain

The location is absolutely stunning and views over harbour are amazing! Nice bed in a main bedroom and actually that’s it

Apartment is located on 4th floor, you have to go upstairs without any elevator via very narrow stairs, it wasn’t written anywhere in description, so in case you’re travelling with heavy luggage or you’re senior, keep this in your mind. Also bathroom is only one and floor near it is extremely sleepy, my mom felt down and hurt her arm and back :( Second bedroom has small sofa, so if you’re renting this apartment for 3 adults, it might be a challenge, as sofa most likely suitable for kids, not for adults. There is almost no socket adapter for EU chargers, always have yours with you

Aircon would be a bonus

Amazing location with authentic Maltese architecture. Location is 5 minute walk to the Main Street of Valletta and the sea is across the street. Because the location is on the back side of the Main Street it stays quiet at night. Across the street there is direct sea access for swimming although it’s not a sand beach, it’s perfect for a swim. Outstanding value overall. The building is old, that is part of its charm. There may be some dust because Maltese people like to open the windows to enjoy fresh sea air. We also loved having a washer because we flew a budget airline and only brought a small bag so it was nice to be able to wash our clothes.

The stairs leading up to the flat were not well lit so we had to use our phones for illumination, not a big deal. The hand rail was wobbly, so many not recommended if you are handicapped. No air con which was fine for us because the weather was pleasant but something to note if you plan to stay in the hotter months. No remote for TV so we could not use but WiFi was strong so we could stream on our devices. Bolt food couriers had trouble finding us so we had to go down the dark stairs every time to collect our food (also because if the double lock entry way).

no aircon- in august need aircon. toilet was not clean.
