Franschhoek Mountain Escape

Location is super central and large very comfortable room

The owner was very good with all communication, before our arrival. The room looked exactly like on the pictures. Very specious bathroom. Nice courtyard with a swimming pool. Also the location is great, very close to the Wine Tram terminal, which was our reason to stay there.

Unfortunately, there were scheduled power cuts, but the owner informed us in advance.

From the lovely welcome on arrival all was perfect .

There was no breakfast included-- the location is good

The bedroom did not have any windows that open, it only had a door leading to the outside--- you cannot sleep with an open door! The 2 teabags were awful , the coffee mugs were colored brown on the inside, so you could not judge whether the tea is strong enough -- put white coffee mugs in your rooms and & rooibos & Ceylon tea -- the teabags were Koisan tea & the mugs (or a similar name) as well-- it gave the impression that the owner dumped unwanted gifts in the room. There were no glasses for drinking water (there were 2 wine glasses) . Clean the window blind in the bathroom -- it can be a nice place to stay by giving attention to the above and it could be a great place to stay if the large brown couch is replaced by a small table and 2 chairs (a small desk will also do) where the guest can work from and eat from (if reqiured) --- the guest must sit on the bed and then work on a laptop --- very uncomfortable. .The room is fitted with aircon which works. Check your bedside lamps as well --- the one side did not work, The bed was comfy!

Perfect location for what we wanted. Given upgrade which was appreciated Didn't really take full advantage of everything on offer, but that was our fault.
