USProperty was in a great location, about a 10-15 minute walk (or 3 minute bike ride) from the ferry station. It was peaceful and quiet, with a great open air restaurant/lounge area on the water.
The room was dirtier than expected, and priced higher than others with similar amenities. The host and I had a few miscommunications that felt challenging.
PTMama Pieng is the best host, super friendly and will welcome you with open arms! The food is delicious and you can have a very good and relaxing time there!
DEI liked the warm-hearted personality of Mama Piang. She is always in a good mood and very helpful. Your food is fantastic. I will definitely come back again! At my last Night she took me to a Beachparty with a campfire.
BEMama Phiang was very welcoming and friendly. She also has a nice restaurant looking over the Mekong river right in front of the guesthouse. The room itself was very basic. We liked that there was AC, but for the rest the room was a bit worn down.
GBMamapiang could not have been more friendly and enthusiastic! We also hired bikes from here for the afternoon. Our stay was great! - just a shame we couldn’t have stayed longer.
GBMy girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at this place. The room was nice - comfortable bed and hot shower, and we were able to get good coffee, beer lao and breakfast onsite. We hired bicycles at a ŕeasonable price, and they were in good condition. They also do a great sunset boat trip at a good price. possibly the best part of our stay though, was the hosts themselves. Mama Piang is a loud, extrovert, friendly and jolly lady who puts a smile on people's faces. Her company was an absolute pleasure and we had many laughs together. Her husband, mother and niece were lovely people too. I love Don Det, and next time I go I'll definitely choose Mama Piang's.
The only thing I didn't like was the staircase leading to the upper rooms. It is very steep, but maybe not a problem for fitter people than me
