the ONLY thing okay about this apartment is the location

I recently booked a stay at what was advertised as a cozy hotel, but my experience was far from what I anticipated. The property turned out to be an apartment rather than a traditional hotel, and the experience was marred further by the unprofessional behavior of the hostess, Rita. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that the place was not a hotel at all but an apartment in a building where my 6 year old child and were the only guests. While I had hoped for a charming and secure hotel environment, what I got was an eerie sense of isolation. The building was silent, with no one else around, and it quickly became clear that I was alone in a place that felt more like an abandoned structure than a welcoming retreat. The real issue, however, was Rita’s handling of the situation. When I expressed my concerns and requested a refund, citing the unsettling nature of being alone in an entire building, Rita was unhelpfully rude and dismissive. Her lack of empathy was astonishing; she seemed more interested in protecting her own interests than addressing my legitimate fears. Despite my attempts to explain how uncomfortable and scared I felt, Rita refused to entertain the idea of a refund or any form of resolution. In summary, what was meant to be a relaxing getaway turned into a distressing ordeal due to misleading advertising and a host who lacked basic customer service skills. I strongly advise against staying here if you value a genuine hotel experience and expect to be treated with respect and understanding. The combination of a deceptive listing and a discourteous hostess made this one of the worst lodging experiences I’ve ever had.

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in Verona. Rita was a wonderful host. The location is brilliant, very close to the Duomo, the Roman theater etc. Walk a few steps and you are in the main shopping area. A few meters towards the river you can find less touristy restaurants with excellent food. It's still quiet in the evening and night - in the morning you might get a bit of street noise from the delivery vehicles, but really nothing major. There is a fridge stocked with ham, drinks, yogurts etc in the room - very convenient for a light breakfast or if you want to take a break and have a snack. There is a coffee maker and a separate kettle for tea. The room is beautiful, with a luxurious bathroom and the bed was comfy. BTW: there is another Residenza Elisabetta in Verona - don't get these confused in Google maps. Search for "Elisabetta Duomo" to locate the correct place.

Rita was an excellent host and the apartment is a gem. It is very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with lots of personal touches. The location is perfect. We highly recommend Residenza Elisabetta Luxury.

Wonderful location in Verona, very quiet street. Rita the host is wonderful.

Amenities, comfortable bed and pillows. Spacious bathroom, attention to detail and the room was very clean. Rita the hostess was very responsive and attentive. Answered all of our questions promptly and even offered to help do a load of laundry for us as we are on the road for 2 weeks in Europe. Walking distance to everything and a good place to discover Verona. The building is old but charming and there is a small lift for your luggage.

Parking. Wished there was parking close by but since it is in the historical center we understand.
