the apartment was filthy and after requesting 3 times that the apartment be cleaned and for proper maintenance, we eventually left the apartment and booked into a hotel. after entering the property, there were papers scattered everywhere which were never cleaned up. The lift was filthy, we used the stairs instead. There was dirty underwear left in the apartment and we had to continuous contact the management company to remove it. The lack of maintenance was also a problem as the air conditioning did not work, there was mold. Much of the apartment was neglected. The lounge table had a broken leg which protruded and the ceiling light had fallen out of the ceiling and was hanging on by its cables. The pictures were taken immediately after the professional cleaning company had supposedly cleaned the apartment again. The management expected us to wait for hours at the apartment so we could let in maintenance and cleaners, but did not come to the apartment themselves. We eventually had to get booking (dot) com involved to request a refund.
