I would like to express my gratitude to Ms. Idayu, the owner of the homestay, for her outstanding customer service. She was extremely polite, responsive, and helpful throughout our 4-day, 3-night stay. Her local knowledge allowed her to introduce us to some of the best attractions in Langkawi, such as Skycab, Hopping Island, Mangrove Tour, and car rental with various package options suitable for our group of 8.
The homestay is situated in a small village, and while the road leading to it is narrow, just drive carefully. it is only a 5-minute drive from the airport and a 15-minute drive from the famous Pantai Chenang beach. Its convenient location also makes it easy for us to access other attractions like Mangrove Tanjung Rhu, Skycab, and Kuah, which are all within a 20 to 30-minute drive.
The homestay is perfect for families or large groups, as it can accommodate up to 8 people comfortably. The homely atmosphere and full range of amenities, including a kitchenette (with a stove, fridge, cooking tools, cutlery, utensils, electric water heater, blender, rice cooker, coffee & tea, and sugar), washing machine, hot shower, air conditioning, fan, toiletries, ironing board, hairdryer, television, and more, make it feel like a home away from home. The living and dining areas are spacious, making it ideal for group gatherings, and we enjoyed spending time together at the dining table.
Overall, our experience at this homestay was enjoyable and memorable, and we highly recommend it to other travelers seeking a comfortable and well-equipped accommodation in Langkawi.
One minor improvement suggestion would be to provide additional socket extensions in each bedroom, as there is only one socket per room, which can be inconvenient for guests with multiple devices. for dining and living area have multiple sockets. However, Ms. Idayu promptly addressed this issue during our stay by providing an extension wire upon request.
