The host Pierre Welthagen, is fantastic. He went out of his way to make us welcome. The room is spacious and we loved that the bathroom was separate. The shower is GREAT and big. The air conditioner is fantastic and we really needed it. It is very close to the supermarket (1 km away) and within walking distance from a lovely pizzeria. We will definitely go back there next time we visit our friend who is 1.2 km away from Douglas Villas.

Whilst the bed was comfortable we found that turning over disturbed the other person. So the mattress was great, not too hard, not too soft, just the movement meant that for a light sleeper it could be an issue. There isn't a wardrobe - even a small one - to pack clothes into.
