Mitford Marula

The location was fabulous with a fantastic sea view right on our doorstep. We spend a lot of time on the stoep to see and hear the ocean, and also had a view from the bed to the sea. A restaurant was also available on the premises. All and all a very relaxing stay. Thank you!

We ran out of toilet paper and didn’t know where to get.

Stunning views. Right on the edge of the ocean so crashing waves and unobstructed views are perfect. Close to the cliff path. Compact living space but comfortable and well laid out.

The whole places feels a little rundown and in need of the renovations which are going on all around. They have a lovely TV as advertised but no channels offered, you need to use your own accounts to view. No cell reception at all but good free WiFi coverage.

Absolutely loved it! The owner had just done some renovations of the apartment and we were the first people staying at the newly renovated place. I really loved how tasteful but also thoughtful in terms of practicality the place was furnished and equipped. The apartment is situated in the former Mitford Hotel (now all the units of the former hotel have different owners) and is right at the ocean, next to the amazing cliffs. For us the location was perfect, in the mornings we went to the beach for a swim, in the afternoons we hiked on the cliffs. Right underneath is the newly reopened restaurant Salty, which is open from the morning until dinner time, which is very practical, too. We so enjoyed staying at the Marula apartment and will definitely be back there one day.
