Alles, was die positiven Vorredner beschrieben haben, haben wir auch genau so angetroffen. Ein sehr schönes Zimmer, sehr bequeme Betten, saubere Duschen und WC und ein sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Vielen Dank!

Il gestore parla un inglese comprensibilissimo, è gentile e disponibile a spiegarti ogni cosa. Il bagno pubblico di quartiere che ci ha consigliato ci ha svoltato completamente il soggiorno. In camera c'erano coperte riscaldanti.

Avere il bagno in comune è un po' scomodo, ma si sapeva.

文化施設が多く、静かで落ち着いたよい場所。近くの商店やスーパー、バスか徒歩で大型の商業施設も使える。施設はゆったりサイズで、たたみと布団で落ち着ける。

Il ryokan si trova nella parte nord di Kyoto, ma è possibile raggiungere qualsiasi parte della città in bus (la fermata è a dir poco adiacente alla struttura) o in metro (a 10 minuti). La zona è davvero bella e permette di godere di parti meno turistiche e blasonate di Kyoto: vi consiglio di andare alla scoperta! Soprattutto se vi piace camminare. Il proprietario è una persona amabile e disponibile, ci ha fatto sentire davvero a casa! I futon sono davvero comodi, non me lo aspettavo!

Clean and relaxing atmosphere. Owner is friendly and welcoming, taking time to point out recommendations in the area and best access to transportation. He would often greet me when I was heading out or coming back in. Shared bathrooms are individual, lockable rooms (3 single toilet rooms, 4 single shower rooms) and are kept clean. Very reasonable price. Liked the interior decor—simple, but with beauty in the subtle details. Although the location is farther from Kyoto station, it has great bus access and is not too far from the subway station (Kitaoji). We frequently used both during our stay. I liked that it was in a quieter neighborhood and enjoyed walking along the Kamo river or Tadasu forest in the mornings.

The air conditioners are a little noisy, but to combat the uncomfortable heat in summer, it can’t be helped. There is a remote to adjust them if needed, though.

The best accommodation and the kindest host. Wholeheartedly, our highest recommendations. The place is in a great location and everything is very clean. Our best experience in Japan.”
