villa Floratus

Le calme du lieu. La gentillesse du propriétaire et d’Aicha (la voisine) qui nous préparait le petit déjeuner (sur demande et payant). L’espace dans la maison, qui est très agréable en famille. Une maison excentrée qui permet d’être au calme, mais à seulement 10 min en voiture de la ville. Donc localisation parfaite !

The villa is very beautiful and staff are extremely friendly! Not far from town, nice quiet and calm area with a countryside feel to it. It was cold at night but one room had a small heater. Every room had extra duvets. Bedlinen very clean and duvets thick and soft. The garden is nicely sheltered and comfortable.

The pool s not heated and therefore cold in winter.

This villa feels like a dream home. After traveling down a dirt road and making a sharp right turn, you find yourself in the middle of a small village, just about 8 minutes from Carrefour, which was our last stop before arriving. We informed the owner via WhatsApp that we were on our way, and I would recommend everyone do the same. When he opened the gates, the place looked amazing. My kids ran inside, and we were all amazed by how beautiful it was. It was a shame we could only stay for one day. The villa has a private pool and spacious seating areas both upstairs and downstairs. There were only five of us, but it features three bedrooms with double beds, plenty of showers and bathrooms, and a large seating area. You could easily accommodate more people if the owner permits. If you're coming to Essaouira and looking for a villa to stay in, I 100% recommend this place. It’s a 10/10!

We loved everything, we asked if we could check out late, in order to get some more rest, The owner extended that too. Great host.

Villa Floratus is a beautiful and spacious house with a swimming pool and a private garden. All rooms were clean with comfortable beds. It was a nice surprise that there was an ice in the freezer on our arrival. Mohamed, the local housekeeper welcomed us with the Moroccan whisky (tea) and some biscuits. There was no problem with the water in the shower. This villa is situated in a small village called Ghazoua, only a 15-minute drive from Essaouira. Adil, the host responded to my messages always promptly.

Everything was great.

Location is fine but you need a car. Some great help from our hosts when it came to things we asked for - for example we thought we might need fans in each bedroom and there were only 2 fans when we were using 3 bedrooms. They went to buy us one almost immediately

There was a potentially dangerous electrical fault with the refrigerator that we detected half way through the week. We could feel low level mains being conducted to exterior parts of the fridge. This was not rectified during our stay but hopefully will be for the next guest

Very nice Villa, authentic design and furniture that fits well into the theme of Essaouira. 15 min drive from Essaouira, and very close to the beach. Adil (owner) and Mohamed (neighbor) were very friendly and available.
