Balcony was not sound proofed, but it didnt bother us and there were weird smells in the first day, but after we opened the windows it got better.

The location was very convenient. Close enough to pretty much everything you need to visit. The place was pretty clean, and the wifi connection was strong. We could easily stream movies, YouTube, or even work from home. The building itself seemed pretty secure. Has two working elevators and all that stuff. There was no noise, except for hearing the cars pass by at night. And you can easily dispose of the trash by dropping it down a chute from inside the building.

Some of the facilities were a bit "outdated." The TV was acting up at times, not properly loading apps. Sometimes it wouldn't register remote control commands. The oven worked, but it was a bit old and non-intuitive. And the central heating could only heat up the water. The radiators were working, but not as strongly when the temperatures were low - which is when we needed them more. There were nights when the temperature dropped quite a lot, and we could feel it. The couch in the living room was very uncomfortable. It was rather some form of foldable bed than couch. But its shape made it quite uncomfortable to sit on for longer periods of time. And the last thing that I didn't like was that all the formalities were done online. What seemed like a pretty easy case of texting us the code to the apartment keys so we could check in, turned out to be an online check in process that required a lot of personal info that is now stored God knows where. The response from the manager was that it is typical procedure when checking in at hotels, except this wasn't a hotel, I was not a foreigner, and hotels ask you to write your personal info on paper - not online, where everyone (eventually) has access to it.

I've got an very detailed Information how to get to and inside the apartment. The reply was always fast and very friendly and of course helpful. The apartment was clean and I enjoyed the view from the balcony. If I have to stay again in Bucharest, I'd like to come back here.

The apartment is good, situated in a prime location just steps away from the metro station and near the historic city center. Within the building, there is shop where you can conveniently purchase all your essentials, including food and drinks. I highly recommend both the apartment and my host, Ioana.
