PLMohamed was a really amazing host! He welcomed us very warmly and made sure we had everything we needed. Dinner, breakfast and tea was absolutely delicious. Room is comfortable and very clean. We got extra blankets without any problem. He also recommended us a hike nearby that was not too difficult but very beautiful. Best stay in Morocco so far. Authentic experience, you should totally get off the beaten path to reach this amazing place.
Be prepared that the house it is a bit cold (at least at this time of the year). But the night with extra blankets was cozy and warm enough. Also in the dining room there was a heater.
CHGreat place, very friendly owner, and stunning landscapes in the area. We stopped here for one night on a bicycle tour. Looking back, we would have loved to have a bit more time in Taouraout to go hiking. Can definitely recommend to fellow travelers! The Jaarfar Gorge is stunning.
GBSuper place to stay with great access to the Jaffar gorge. So tranquil. Our friends had stayed in Boumia the night before and had a bad night. They also loved staying here with Mohammed. Mohammed and his family are really great hosts. If you're cycling it makes a lot of sense to stay here!
