Weeden Cottage

Continued and timely communication with our hosts made pre-planning/arrival stress-free. House was clean, well-equipped and ultra-quiet. Internet and streaming services were trouble-free. Plentiful supply of towels and cleaning supplies. Despite the weather and oppressive heat we experienced, HVAC worked flawlessly. Appreciated the labeling of all the light switches. The full-sized washer and dryer were a bonus, especially considering the length of our vacation trip and high temperatures we experienced.

Nothing the hosts could change e.g. weather temperatures, presence of small lizards/grasshoppers, mosquitos, etc. Neighboring property is undergoing major renovations. Concrete grinding and early-morning construction noises, while not really bothersome, could diminish the quality-of-life for some renters. One suggestion would be to prepare and display a book of area restaurant menus and/or special attractions.

Location was perfect. A short walk into the centre of town but very close to good restaurants. Small extras were all available in the house for going to the beach like a cool box / pack with the ice packs in the freezer.

Would have liked a filtered water and ice dispenser in the fridge freeze but this is a very minor point and in no way detracts from the overall excellent review. My personal preference for coffee is expresso but the coffee maker supplied was standard for a US house and fine.

Beautiful home that is well maintained and has all the fun little discoveries there. We found the games drawer on the morning that we were leaving. We will probably stay here on our next visit to St Augustine.

The walk to get to the historic district was a little farther than I thought when I booked our stay.

Excelente lugar, una casa maravillosa con todas las comodidades necesarias y mas. Cocina super equipada, lavandería, camas cómodas, un espacio acogedor. Además muy bien ubicado, a pasos del centro histórico de Saint Augustine y cerca (en auto) de las playas como Vilano Beach.

The property was located in a perfect location to explore St Augustine Historic District & within a very short walk to one of the hop on/off trolly stops and plenty of great food in the local area! The accommodation itself was perfect, tidy, clean and modern with everything we could possibly need. Parking off road was very easy and handy! We knew there was no cot in advance and brought our own - the property has generously sized bedrooms which easily accommodated the cot. The hosts messaged to check in with us and make sure everything was as expected - which it was... if not better! I've already recommended this place to family and friends! We would absolutely come back and stay here again!

The only one problem was the shower/bath tub. It really should be redone as a walk in shower or at lease put non-slip strips on bottom of tub as it was very slippery and thank God for the grab bars or it would have been an accident for sure.

Lovely quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the Historic area. Wonderful porch to enjoy our morning coffee. Great kitchen, comfortable furniture and off street parking. Extremely happy with our accommodation. My husband commented he would be happy if that was our home.

The location of the property was in a lovely residential neighborhood. From there it was an easy walk to local restaurants and shops, as well as the Downtown museums and other entertainment. The cottage itself was well appointed and clean.

Very well updated. Within 5-10 minute walk to anywhere in historic downtown. Excellent Restaurant Fish Camp is just out the back door and across the street. There is a civil rights museum within a couple minutes where the volunteers are super knowledgeable. Dr King held his meetings in that building during while St Augustine was in the national news.
