Birdsong Taupo

This place is heaven on earth because the owners, Craig and Lisa, have set up Birdsong as a home away from home. From the moment you arrive, you feel peace and serenity of the area. Birdsong combines comfort, cleanliness and beautifully decorated rooms. Little extras, like jams in the fridge, were a bonus treat. What a special place, that we hope to return for more than two nights, as a week here would be amazing, as Taupō is so beautiful! Craig and Lisa are people who are willing to help with anything you need. We had assistance from them with special request that ensured our stay was even more memorable. Such kind owners :-)

I absolutely adore Songbird Taupo. The hosts have created a home away from home, which feels really comforting. The hosts Lisa and Craig are your Classic Kiwi couple. Lisa's big bubbly smile and Craig's can do, she'll be right attitude adds to the familiarity and comfort as you would feel with a trusted neighbor you've know for years. I can't say enough about this place and the hosts I highly recommend Songbird Taupo Accommodation. We will be back

Birdsong is beautiful, comfortable and spacious and feels like a home away from home. There is a fully equiped kitchen with basic cooking needs, lovely jams in the fridge and a Weber BBQ out door area. Many other little extra bits and pieces to enjoy too.

It is 15 minutes away from Taupo central and 5 minutes from Acacia Bay which suited us but perhaps not everyone.

The apartment is located in a wonderful rural setting close to the town centre. It was peaceful and quiet. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped with two televisions, a coffee machine and a heat pump. Lisa suggested several tourist attractions, and we visited most of them. Very enjoyable. We will definitely return to Birdsong when we next visit Taupo.

Criag and Lisa were wonderful hosts, welcoming us to their lovely hillside property and giving us all sorts of tips about the best things to do nearby and the next stage of our road trip. The apartment was beautifully presented with all the right amenities for a very comfortable stay.
