Very clean, well maintained

Fourth floor. Need to tell people there are many steps. We had two older couples and the stairs were difficult after a full day of touring!

The property was in good location, just couple of meters from the beach, shops, bakery and restaurant. We were very pleased with the property location. The rooms were very good size and beds were comfortable. There was enough space for the clothes (I would increase the number of hangers as there were 2 hangers in each cabinet). The bathroom was nice and clean. The property is fully renovated and looks like new. There was a small kitchenette area equipped with coffee machine, fridge, kettle, small grill where we were able to heat up the food and make a toasted bread. We were only missing a plates and a proper knife otherwise all was there.

The property was on the 3rd floor without lift. We were traveling with the heavy luggage and it was quite a work to get upstairs and downstairs. There was a very uncomfortable situation which made us very stressed. The neighbours were complaining that we have parked 2 motorbikes in front of the property for one night. We haven't been aware that is not allowed as the host haven't mentioned anything to us. There were other motorbikes parked as well, so we thought we can leave the motorbikes there. The host texted us very angry why we haven't asked if we can parked there. We haven't been aware we were doing anything wrong. If we would know from day 1 that there are certain rules as the property is part of the block of flats, this situation should have been very easily avoided. I would recommend the host to inform the clients about the rules which might create conflict with the neighbours to avoid situations like this. We were were stress out as the neighbour was screaming on us in Italian and our kids were scared to stay in the property. Luckily this was our last day. The communication with the host about this matter was unacceptable. There was a drainage smell in the property. On the last day we were planning to leave early to catch the early bus to Napoli. When I woke up I saw the message from the host from 00:17 saying that we should leave the city tax there in cash. I havent had enought cash in my purse, so my husband went to chase a cash maschine at 7am. Again if the host would tell us on day one about the city tax we would prepare the cash for city tax during our stay.

The apartment is really superbly decorated, extremely clean with modern equipment. Recommended for all travelers, especially for those who want to stay longer and deserves a rating higher than 10. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable.

Only after registration and payment did we receive a notification that the use of the kitchen is charged additionally. That's perfectly fine because we were only there for one night and we didn't even think of cooking, but it would be fair to point that out earlier. We entered the code to enter the apartment only when we were in front of the door, so I don't know what the procedure would be if we came late at night.

What I liked (+): 1. Cleanliness (apartment seems to be newly renovated and very clean) 2. Location (not far from the seaside and very quiet, though the city itself is a very small)

What I didn't like (-): 1. Owner and conditions a) Travelled with the family of 4 (accidentally booked apartment for 2 - my mistake. Owner decided to increase the price x2, though the difference in booking.com between 2 and 4 ppl stay was just 20%, with "take-it-or-leave-it reasoning" b) expect to pay full price for the kids with age >2 years c) if you make the booking for 2 persons you won't get the entire apartment - just one room, the other one will be closed. 2. No parking It is a problem if you travel by car. Street is very narrow and you cannot load/unload your luggage. The closest parking is 200 m away for the fee of 35 EUR/day. 3. No elevator and lights between floors For those arriving late with the luggage it will be very difficult to climb the floors and keep the light of the phone on. 5. Difficulty in getting keys/access to the apartment Though in conditions it is stated that you will get keys/codes as soon as the payment is made, it was not implemented. Expect to get your keys/codes only when you are at the door and the owner see you from the camera. Though the apartment is clean and newly renovated would I stay there again if I come to Minori. With current owner attitude definitely no.
