Basilica Suite

After reading the reviews we had high expectations with this Booking. However it did not meet the expectations. The first day upon our arrival we noticed that the bed was broken. Which was already mentioned by the guest before us in Booking. The owner of the apartment fixed It the next day but the bed was still quite uncomfortable. The location is really nice in the old town of Bari. However, its in the ground floor of a building without windows. As a result, there was a lot of humidity (and a bad smell), the privacy was not great as the door was made of glass and we woke up every day hearing the discussions of the people living next to us. Our biggest disappointment came in relation with the lack of taking care of the apartment during our stay. We booked for one week, but we were only give 2 Big towels and 2 small ones upon arrival (we had to ask for extra ones in the middle of our stay). The room was not cleant, the bedsheets were not changed and we had to take care of our own trash. This is not what we expectated when we booked an apartment of this cost (and this is not the service that is usually provided). Furthermore, there is no clóset or anywhere where to hang your clothes As a summary this could be an ok place where to stay for one or two nights (bath + location) but I would not stay more than that.

Good location, jacuzzi tub

No windows

That tub, after 10 days 4 city's and 120 miles of walking, was just what the doctor ordered. The Nona next door making her orchetti, and being so nice and sweet. The location, right next to St. Nicola's and equal distant to 2 local beaches.

Nothing

It was close to the edge of old town so taxi could drop you close, the host was super friendly and the room was exactly as pictured.

There wasn’t a window, so it was a little musty. But I would still stay again!

The bed was quite uncomfortable.

Lovely modern room right in the heart of the historic centre. We loved the spa and the complementary bottle of wine. It was great to have a fridge and coffee machine in the room as well. We also enjoyed meeting our neighbour and watching her make handmade orecchiette.

the position of the suite is perfect, right in the middle of the historic center and close to the sea.

Perfect for short stay and very luxury suite, the Jacuzzi is the best one I have ever find in a B&B and the location is right in the heart of the old city center, in front of the Basilica di San Nicola. Marco is always available for anything and very nice guy! TOP, strongly suggested!!
