Didn’t like that the host came into the property just as I had got changed. The hot tub unfortunately didn’t heat up in time for us to be used as it was only turned on in the evening just before we arrived.
CZThe host is a regular scammer. Upon arrival, he will demand another 100 RON for using the jacuzzi, even if you tell him you’re not going to use it, because he has no way of checking whether you use it or not. If you’re a group of 4, he will demand more money again and will tell you that even though you booked for 4 adults, you only paid for 2 adults and 2 children. Apparently all this is written in the romainian version of this booking, but gets lost in translation in the english version, which is nonsense of course. He has all the screenshots of the romainian booking ready on his phone from the moment he says you need to pay more money. This listing should be taken down, because it goes directly against booking terms of service.
RSThe apartment is spacious, clean and modern with a big terrace.
We had a problem with the host. We chose the apartment only because of the jacuzzi, but the host asked us to pay additionally to use it. He argued that he stated it in the description on the Romanian version of the Booking. However, the EN version (where we booked) only states that the apartment has a jacuzzi. He blamed the Booking for the "bad translation" which is absurd. Additionally, we booked for 4 persons, but he said that we booked for 3 persons, and asked us to pay additionally. Hi gave up when I showed him the booking confirmation for the 4 persons. We saw this as a try to extort some additional money from us. Even if it was a misunderstanding, he should let us use the jacuzzi for free since he is the one who failed to inform us during the booking process that the jacuzzi is not included in the price.
