Serene Retreat

Excellent place for a peaceful getaway. The property has a beautiful backyard and a nice pool. House has all the amenities too. Host Mr. Sunu was really welcoming. Will recommend to anyone who wishes to have a peaceful stay within kochi.

It was spacious and private. The equipment and finishing are of good standards

The house was not cleaned properly from the night before, when i arrived. there was dirty dishes in the sink. I stayed the first night and left to another hotel the next day. i paid the full amount as i did not want to spoil my trip. The bathrooms and toilets need a good clean. Coffee cup stains on the table. Microwave and fridge was dirty inside. and duty on the display units -There was lots of fruit bugs flying around the sink, If the house was cleaned and maintained properly it would be ideal. But it was not and that spoilt the trip.

Serene Retreat, Manjummel is a gem and a rare find among homestays. Clean and spacious rooms, a fully functional kitchen, a well-maintained pool, and a nice yard made our stay very comfortable. The area is safe, secure, and quiet, with quick delivery services available. Special thanks to Sonuji and Gerald, the caretakers, for their excellent support and hospitality. Overall, a very good experience and highly recommended 👍

The only minor issue was the absence of window blinds, which slightly affected sleep at night. Also cooking and washing has to be self basis.

Felt like a home away from home...i would highly recommend this property for those who wants to njoy the comfort of the home even during vacation..very quiet and picturesque location...very friendly host Mr.Sunu...
