Our room was very quiet, and very clean.

The facilities are a bit dated.

Stayed 2 nights. No staff to be found even at check-in. No answer to phone calls. Supposed 5 star and it was 6 years ago but it isn't now. Moldy wet smell in bathroom but is able to be smelt before you enter the room. Won't be staying again.

The lodge was set in landscaped gardens and had a very characterful lounge area which was comfortable and relaxing. Room was comfortable, very clean and spacious.

Dim lighting for size of room - it was quite dark. Noise from the road traffic early morning.

Location, great rooms, excellent breakfast.

Overpriced and walls are paper thin. Can hear everything from guests next door.

The room was excellent as was the rear patio area. We also made good use of the lounge and snooker room. Overall we were very pleased with the accommodation.

We thought the breakfast buffet could have been better by offering more varied, and better quality, buffet options. The property is located some distance from Franz Joseph which meant we could not walk into the town.
