LaLa Penthouse

Felt like I was in a luxury room. The staff were very good with the replies. Airconditioning worked a treat can't fault it.

It was bit far away though not an issue as I had my own bike. It was also hard to find. The rooms are on the inside of the building (it'll make sense when you arrive) so when you first arrive it's hard to find their entrance. The bed was a bit firm for my liking

Very newly renovated rooms with nice design. The shared kitchen was very clean and modern.

Communication: I tried to notify the owner that we would possibly arrive after 6 pm check-in time and was told not to worry. We arrived around 6:30 pm, and no one was around. The door was locked. A security guard for the building called the owner for us and let us in/told us which room was ours, but there was no information for guests provided. I tried contacting the owner multiple times but got no response. We managed to get wifi details and the after-hours door code from other guests, and on our last day the cleaner was able to help us sort hot water issues. Facilities: Listing states that the accommodation includes washer and drier however these are apparently not available for guests to use, which we discovered halfway through doing our washing when we ran into the cleaner who seemed confused and annoyed and said we needed to pay her for the laundry. Listing includes a pool, but this is just the public pool in the building, which is expensive and incredibly busy! Comfort: Mattresses are very thin foam, and bedding is cheap. There is a lot of renovation happening in the building, and this started very early with jackhammering. The building is huge but mostly empty, so it is very loud and echos any sound.
