Its nice getaway close to home. Justin and Kelly were amazing. Justin is highly knowledgeable on farm processes and explains them in terms that are easy to understand well doing the farm tour.

I think the property is run quiet well there are certain things that could be better but for an escape from the life in the city you really would have to be nitpicking and looking for problems. Overall it’s a nice affordable retreat and not a five star hotel. For what it is they are amazing!

I liked the location and the staff (from Kelly, Justin, Pep, and the rest of the staff we encountered); they were warm, very helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. I also enjoyed the activities tied to the property, the farm tour, and the vegetable picking. Really great way to keep guests entertained and busy. I loved the breakfast-in-bed service; really convenient. Even though there is a restaurant nearby, the noise did not permeate all the way to the rooms, which were very quiet and peaceful. I really enjoyed it.

The eskom issue and Wi-Fi being down when there was no electricity was a minor inconvenience, but something that can be resolved and was promptly resolved the following morning. But other than that, all was great.

Great breakfast at the Jodev farmstall. Location very close to the wedding venue in the Cradle of Humankind.
