Perfect, private but close to beach location. Enjoyed beach and beachside walks in daylight and dark. Visited Ben’s Buns twice. And was delighted on both occasions!

Would love to. Have stayed longer.

"Klein aber fein, gute Lage"

Nähe zum Strand, für die Kapiti-Island-Tour und für diverse Lokale sehr gut. Unsere Gastgeber haben wir nicht angetroffen, außer den Infos zum (problemlosen) Checkin gab es keinen Kontakt. Das Zimmer ist klein, was auch aus der Beschreibung hervorgeht und funktionell eingerichtet, war auch sauber. Dusche einwandfrei. Den Außenbereich haben wir durchaus geschätzt.

Es gibt einen relativ lauten Kühlschrank, der uns nachts gestört hat. Er ist ziemlich kalt eingestellt, weshalb er sehr oft läuft. Wenn man ihn weniger kalt einstellt, gibt er länger Ruhe, dafür schmilzt das Eis im Gefrierfach, dessen Klappe fehlt und dann schwimmt alles innen, kann man nicht machen. Hier sollte unbedingt nachgebessert werden, Es gibt kleine, leise Kühlschränke, gerade für Camper oder Hotelzimmer.

"A comfortable little studio near the beach, once one has the key for entry!"

There was a view of Kapiti Island from the studio which was nice and it was just across the road from the beach. It was quite comfortable and very quiet and a short 15 minute walk from shops.

Being unable to contact the owner to collect the key to get in to the studio on a very wet night was extremely stressful. There was no answer on the phone and no doorbell on the house, luckily her dog alerted her to someone being there outside. (Not everybody has email on their phone, which would probably have made entry via a key box simpler). Most places have some human interaction with hosts. I never saw her again after finally gaining entry to the studio.
