Ubytovanie Stratený budzogáň

Quite street in a village, great location if you seek peace and quite and want to explore the location via hiking. You can use car, but even do a longer walk to Rajecke Teplice. You can park next to the accommodation, free of charge. The facility has everything you need for few days if stay, however for longer period I would choose one with better equipped kitchen. Though it was clean and spacious. As we traveled with our little toddler girl, we and she enjoyed a lot the library with beautiful kids books :) and the hosts were very nice, letting us use their brush & hose to clean our muddy shoes from one of the hikes, and they shared with us also some homemade Easter cakes.

This might be subjective of course, though we did not enjoy the bed and mattresses, our backs & necks felt broken. We missed some equipment in the kitchen like sharp knife to cut e.g. the bread, or pasta strainer. Otherwise it has been a great spot for our family hiking adventures.

Modern kitchen, big bathroom, affordable for the size of the space. Complimentary fruits and Christmas cookies left by the host. Clear instructions for getting in. Christmas tree in the sitting roon was nice. Generally clean except the mold mentioned below.

Bedroom smelled stuffy, and we found black mold behind the wardrobe and dust behind thr bedside chest. Husband had an allergic reaction, so we ended up sleeping all 3 of us plus the baby in the sitting room as we didn't want to inhale the moldy air. Corner of the shower and one of the sink drains also had mold.

Accomodation deserves 10/10. Apartment with kitchen, big shower, very, very comfy bed. Kitties at backyard :3

Maybe wifi, do not rely on remote office/trip planning, gsm is weak too. Plan in advance, or in town. But on the vacation it does not matter!

This is a self catering apartment. The village Kl'ace has a nice small shop, one restaurant and a pub, has a regular bus going through and a small train station. I had my car, but I did use both too. Keep in mind Slovakia has a zero alcohol law.

The train payment system in now online, no cash, so you need to navigate a application that can be annoying for people who don't speak slovakian. Rajecké Teplice that is a beautiful spa town is in walking distance but the main road has no pavement between the two.

I liked that the hoste warm up the room because it was cold at night. But i missed to meet him.
