The hosts were so lovely and welcoming. The breakfasts and dinner were delicious. They were so helpful with lots of advice on the logistics of our trip. Would absolutely stay here again!

The homestay hosts were so lovely and kind. We really felt taken care of. The room was so clean with a big bathroom. It was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend them for a homestay experience!

The location isn't within walking distance of Kandy central, so you have to take a tuk tuk. This was the only downside!

I stayed only one night but I wish I had stayed longer. The house is very beautiful and clean. The owner is very sweet and helpful, he prepared an amazing breakfast and he also showed me how to prepare wood apple. If I come to Kandy again, I will stay here. Thank you very much!

Everything was perfect in this homestay. The welcome from the hosts was so kind and warming. The breakfasts were the best we had in Sri Lanka and the air conditioning in the room was luxury. Would highly recommended.

A little bit far outside the town but we appreciated the calm and the nice view.

One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka was at Kande Homestay. Shanthra and his wife are some of the most amazing people we have met. They are empty nesters who decided to open a homestay and they are doing an exceptional job. They are super efficient with communication before and after your stay and they welcomed you into their home as if you were a family member. Their home is so beautiful and clean and we honestly couldn't fault our room. Even down to the little details such as toothbrushes, soaps etc that were included. We were lucky enough to go with them to their local temple for a festival and see how they celebrate which was so special for us and we were so grateful that they and their community opened the experience to us. Next the food! Authentic, delicious, home cooked food that we wish we could eat everyday at home. This, combined with conversations with the two of them, really made our experience- It doesnt get much better than that. Such great value for money and i highly recommend to all who are coming to Kandy, you won't be disappointed.
