I wouldn’t say it was an overwhelming dislike but you do get the full sounds of nature at night, which I fully get , we’re living the island life and should embrace Everitt comes with.

HKLikes: location was amazing, staff were incredible, porch area with beanbags was lovely, provided fans which helped. Dislike: restaurant behind played loud music, motorcycles were filling up gasoline behind the villa which made it smell (only for a little while).
SEGBWe had a wonderful stay! The family who runs the business is very friendly and helpful! The bungalow is nice, just a few steps away from the beach.
PHGBThe owner, Michael, had owned the property for many years and it was one of the first hotels at Port Barton. He was conscious for the need for to preserve Port Barton. He has designed some lovely bedrooms with high quality fixtures and fittings right on the beach. The location could not be better.
Breakfast was a bit basic.
CAFantastic location with amazing hosts and staff. Perfect little cottages if you want beachfront access. Complimentary water and kayak were fabulous. We kayaked to Coconut beach and White beach in easy time. Much more pleasant than getting a tricycle. Owners were attentive and knowledgeable about the area. Helped us rent a scooter and navigate to some local attractions. Hosts have 5 lovely dogs that we could get our ‘pet fix’ in. Shower was nice and warm. Restaurant attached to resort serves fresh seafood and authentic dishes while watching the sunset. There is an large shaded deck with and overhead fan to cool under after a long day at the beach. There is also a fan inside room near the bed.
No A/C but that’s the trade off to have beach access and hear the waves at night.. Any beachfront property will be more noisy than in town as all the beach bars are playing music and stray dogs bark occasionally at night.
