The accomodation is a bit out-dated. Dont arrive when it is already dark. we arrived too late, so the experience was a little different.

very good breakfast, they went the extra mile with checkin.

we spent only 1 night at this lovely place. The owners are so welcoming and friendly you almost feel part of the family. We felt so safe, and the views of the farm are breathtaking 😍. If you are a farmchild and nature child at heart that has appreciation for all a farm has to offer this is the place for you. The food was incredible and their home made cheese sauce is to die for, and super affordable. My hubby and I spent over 2 hours just wandering around the property, we got to see the most beautiful wildlife roaming between cows and semi wild horses and their young foals. what an amazing experience!!

The braai facility was under construction, which they appologise for, but inform us there is a porteble braaier that we can use, needed to look for it and carry it ourselves to our unit. The chairs were lying around and had fetch from other units as the two at the unit were broken. To better the view from our unit as the braai area is infront of us we clear the braai area ourselves of plastic bags and other contsruction stuff. Apologise that the wild animals come into the yard, they could have just sweep infront of the unit, step in manure infront of unit, I suggest if you need to renovate paint the poles of sight and leave all construction equipment of sight as well. They say we can use the braai area but had to climb over painted poles lying in front of the braaier area, so could not use it. After clearing the area, we enjoyed our stay, went for hike, and explored the area, no marked route, but just followed the little stream.
