Victoria house

Lovely restored Victorian house. Spacious room. Perfect location on our way from Christchurch to Mt Cook. Nice little town.

The room is due for a good dusting.

A really good location, a great bed and spacious. Good on site parking and easy access. Hosts were pleasant and welcoming.

The cleanliness of the shower and toilet were substandard. The television was too small for the bedroom/living room provided.

Rien malgré un accueil correct

Ça ne correspondait absolument pas à ce que j'avais réservé : une maison victorienne ? Nous étions dans dans un "cagibi" accessible par l'arrière court au bout d'une allée en gravier empêchant de faire rouler nos valises. Le logement était glacial avec des chauffages d'appoint bruyants, le sol craquait sous nos pieds, l'isolation phonique et thermique enexistante. La TV ne fonctionnait pas (netflix ok mais nous étions plusieurs sur le même compte et donc ça coupait). Et surtout, ça ne correspondait pas à ce que j'avais réservé ! Une honte Et surtout publicité mensongère !

Beautiful building with old world charm. Spacious and value for money.

It was a bit in need of a dust, bathroom could do with updating and a surface for wash bag etc.

The whole use of the accommodation was great, with full use lounge and dinning area. The owners were very nice and welcoming. Great place to stay.

The only one thing and it's a small thing, bathroom was a little dated. But shower was powerful and good.

We had a lovely stay at Victoria House. Paul and his family were all very friendly and welcoming and the place was clean and tidy.

Ein tolles authentisches Haus. Sauber und gut funktionierendes Badezimmer. Das Preis leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Very nice period 1920 s ish house set off main road in central Geraldine. Off street parking . Beautiful original plaster relief ceilings, wooden floors and wonderful decorations. Large bedroom with comfy beds; large dining room/ lounge and a large bathroom- all separate from owners part of the house. Great facilities in a very grand 1920’s setting. There was some road noise from main road outside, however we were not disturbed by it as we regularly use ear plugs when travelling! Thank you 🙏

Lovely home, beautifully presented.

Bathroom window sealed and cannot be opened. Only has microwave for cooking. No sink for washing up dishes.
