Property was good with the bohemian style and cute and compact for a couple stay.

Felt like a bit more maintenance will make the property look even better.

Séjour exceptionnel ! L’hôtel est hyper cosy, chaleureux et convivial, on s’y sent vraiment bien dès l’arrivée. Le mobilier est simple et de bon goût, et surtout la literie était très confortable et impeccable. L’ambiance générale est apaisante, parfaite pour se détendre quelques jours. Le personnel est également très agréable et accueillant, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus mémorable.

Seul petit point négatif : la présence de cafards dans la salle de bain, ce qui peut être dérangeant. Cela reste toutefois un détail comparé à la qualité globale du séjour.

The staff was very friendly, and also the location was very close to the main street. The breakfast was very tasteful and good prices! Also good coffee.

The bed was bit small, and also in the bathroom there were a lot of ants crawling... Airconditioning made a lot of noise during the night.

Good price, great mattress and a nice design in common areas

Would have expected a bit more premium experience from the dorm room. The mattress is great, as well as air conditioning. But based on the contemporary design I would have expected more from the dorm - basic bunk bed with a very uncomfortable ladder to get up, no windows in the room, nowhere to sit except your bed. The location is 1km away from the active centre area, a bit of daily walking by road in the heat. There was no water on my last morning.

The staff of Smaba was so friendly we loved the whole accommodation the room was very clean. We had a balcony, a beautiful bathroom and room, and it also included a breakfast which was delicious. You could always choose among eight different variations. The room service was great - every time we entered the room it was smelling amazing and also the owner and manager of Samba was so professional. It was also possible to pay with card which not often is the case in Sri Lanka and he was also super helpful when it came to other services such as printing documents or doing our laundry overall we can highly recommend and would always choose to come back.
