Gorgeous House

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The location is great—quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to everything we needed. The neighborhood is calm, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating, always available to answer any questions we had. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

Nice accommodation in a nice house and area, close to supermarket, and all you need in walking distance. It's easy to park there. Very nice people and a family atmosphere in the house.

Super friendly and helpful host!!! Way above a beyond the necessary. A bit of a walk to the center but doable

The host is extremely helpful. We got lots of tips and good advice from him. The beds are comfortable and the place is keept very clean and the whole house and its furniture is a good high standard.

It was VERY hard to find the house - the street address did not take us to the right location. First when we asked the GPS for GEORGEOUS HOUSE, did we find it - but by that time (several hours late arrival) - there was nobody home. There was only one bathroom/toilet to 4 rooms, but the guests were good at sharing.

Exceptional place where you can stay in Ponta Delgada. Room is very clean and comfortable, very bright with open windows. Clean bed linens and towels, very clean shared bathroom. Well-equiped shared kitchen. Nice garden where you can listen birds and enjoy for the whole day if needed 😅. Easy access to local transport, huge grocery store just in 10 minutes of walking. The house owner is very polite man, can help you exactly with anything you need (even pick you up from the other side of the island in case of unforeseen circumstances, as was the case with us) - definitely come back again.

Cleanness and space

The quiet neighborhood, the proximity to the city center (but you do need a rent car for your own mobility, there is no public transport available or efficiently practicable around the house). The cleanness and beautiful decoration of the house. Very beautiful spacious well equipped with all the necessary room, respectful nice other guests that didn't make noise. My room was at the first floor with a huge bed and terrace, with many furniture to put things in, huge private bathroom with sufficient towels, hairdryer and shower gel douche. The friendliness and availability and amability of the owners (a retired couple) who gave advice and helped me with information and other things I needed from the very beginning till the end of my stay. They were very attentive and always ready to render service and make our stay comfortable. I really felt like being home when staying at this place. The cleaning lady was also very nice and helpful. There's also WiFi in the house. The common terrace is super nice for having your meals outside in the garden (which is very beautiful). There are also 2 nice cats for those who like animals (that come and go on the terrace, not in the house). The house is impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Plants everywhere. A very feel like home atmosphere. The owners live in the same house, but in a different part of it,with different entrance. One practically doesn't see them. The lady of the house had a very nice attention for all the guests of the house one day of national holiday and left us with local traditional bread and sweets. I also got all the necessary instructions and communicated with the owner of the house during the day of my arrival flight and from the airport in Ponta Delgada. Everything was just perfect and exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend this location where I stayed 7 days in August with my teenage daughter.
