Super fijn verblijf, met super lieve eigenaar. Het restaurant onder het verblijf is van de eigenaar en serveert super lekker eten. Ik had een fried rice met tonkatsu. Er was iets mis gegaan met de bestelling en toen kreeg ik mijn tonkatsu gratis naast de 10% korting die we al kregen omdat we boven verbleven. Hele goeie service! Ik zal er zeker nog een keer verblijven.

We loved the location! Right in the heart of the eating district and a very short walk to the old part of town. The accomodation was basic but everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

The beds and bedding were basic and pillows - there was only one each, so no choices. Minimum cups, glasses etc and only plastic available. Still, we enjoyed our stay!

Close to attractions. Clean and spacious. Hosts were very hospitable. They operate a restaurant below our rental. The food was delicious. Very nice couple.

Easy 8 minute walk to Takayama station. But with bags, it did become clumsy. Because of the short distance, cabs did not entertain our requests for service. I guess the fare was too small for the inconvenience.

Location was brilliant, walking distance to shops and market, place was clean and functional and oh so large compared to usual hotel rooms. Easy access to the residence and great little restaurant below where I had the best and freshest dinner so far in Japan ( along with complimentary drink for staying upstairs). Wonderful place to stay.

Would like more comfy seating, rather than a futon couch.

Lovely location near the river. Really big space too which was great. Owners have a restaurant downstairs that we'd thoroughly recommend. They are very friendly and helpful. Wish we'd booked for longer in Takayama.

Very big for Japan apartment. You can open your luggage and not to interfere your family member to go across the room))) Very clean and really good natural fit out materials. Everything you need: 3 beds, sofa, separate toilet, separate shower, separate bathroom, washing and drying machine, fridge, microwave. The host runs the restaurant on the 1st floor.

Everything. This is a great place to stay, close to everything and excellent value for money. The hosts have their restaurant downstairs which is a must for dining. Sooo good.

It didn't worry us but the stairs to the room entrance are steep to walk. Watch your step.
