Gorgeous view. Very comfortable.

It's a a very long drive to any kind of store. No good restaurants in the area.

The lake view and deck are amazing. The home is roomy with all the dishes and appliances that were needed. Beds were very comfortable.

Would like to have had access to an outside hose to clean our ATVs. Vegetation needs to be thinned in the front to see the lake better from the house. Lawn needs to be mowed.

The location. On the water. With the sound of the waves, the wind in the trees. The view. The outside detached deck… the overall comfort of the home. This was our first time staying in a home & it was everything I had hoped it would be as we spent time together as a family on a very emotional “journey.”

Haha! The stove & fridge were so new it took us a while to figure out how to best use them. And - this is my personal preference- the beds were too tall (my husband had to help lift me into bed lol)

The home was very easy to access, I love having keyless entry on properties. The home has two full bathrooms, one in the hallway and one in a kind of jack-and-jill set up in-between the bedrooms one with a king bed and the other with a queen. You do need to go through the queen bedroom to get to the king. This wasn't a big deal to us, but could be a privacy concern to some. The kitchen was nice and big with room for many of us to be in there fixing dishes. There is lots of silverware and plates for all of the guests. We did however wish there was a big stock pot for making soups and large amounts of pasta. We did definitely use the instructions provided (thank you!) on the stovetop since it's an induction stove. It was a bit confusing trying to figure out what pots and pans worked where on it. There were many utensils for serving and preparing food. The "primary" bedroom has a king bed in it that was quite comfy and there's an attached 1/2 bath. The pocket door wasn't working when we got there. But the property manager was super accessible and responsive. She sent her son the next day to fix it. He even brought us an extension cord we'd asked about. He was super nice and was in and out before we even knew it. The bunk bedroom is sort of a back porch. It has a door into the house and to the outside. It was a unique set up and we thought it was pretty cool. But definitely for early risers as it's facing the east and surrounded in windows. Again, privacy could be an issue for some. Since people were walking through to go out the back door. But it again, was no biggie for us at all. The yard is beautiful with wildflowers and native plants. We all took time taking pictures of blooming flowers and stunning lady-slippers that were just growing everywhere. What a treat for us outdoorswomen! There is a path to a deck overlooking the lake and steps down to the water.

We would have liked a stock pot and bigger pots and pans for cooking. We brought our own griddle for making breakfasts. It would have been nice to have one there already. There could have been more seating in the living room. We had 8 guests and there was only one couch and chair for seating (which were quite comfortable). These are nit-picky things for sure. This home is very well appointed though it could use a deep clean (but I am fussy). Nothing I mentioned would even make me hesitate coming back. The owner/manager/handyman were all lovely and absolutely on the ball with everything. We did have an outstanding stay.

The home was updated, clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The hosts were very responsive.

The exterior needs maintenance. It was not mowed or upkept for the summer, causing mosquitoes to be plentiful and the view of the lake to be difficult through the brush. It was very difficult to enjoy the outdoors.
