Lakeview Apartment

Nice and spacious apartment with a lovely view.

The allocated parking should be numbered. We could not find a spot on the first evening after we came back from dinner. It was dark and there were no roadside parking available. We had to drive round a few times until the there was one available. It made us very nervous to drive out in case there is no parking available on return. This spoilt an otherwise lovely stay.

The apartment was clean and well-equipped and had great views of the lake and surrounding countryside.

The only issue was related to the air conditioning which was non functional on arrival. We reported this immediately as we found the apartment stuffy with the apartment sliding doors closed - which we normally kept closed, certainly at night, as we did not want to risk further sand fly bites. My wife found the apartment too warm at night and did not sleep well at all throughout our stay. Despite reporting the mal-functioning on arrival, on leaving 4 days later there had been no effective action to rectify a minor requirement to switch on the related roof equipment (exchanger unit or similar) The owner responded to our repeated reports of the mal function and repeatedly made contact with the apartment facility operator, but disappointingly they did nothing to resolve the issue while we were in residence. The owner clearly needs a more effective mechanism to resolve apartment issues.
