Eucalyptus Cottage

Great location, very well equipped and very well put together. It’s also very spacious.

The decor is amazing. Great location, quiet, huge shower, super comfortable bed and equipment in kitchen is modern. All the fine details like the biscuits they sat out, sweeties on the bed and clear instructions really made this stay extraordinary.

The WIFI was a bit up and down depending on where in the flat you were, but it is a minor thing. There is really nothing to complain about.

Fully equipped kitchen. Small and private garden.

Would have preferred Dstv and not Netflix.

The location is very central. Fully equipped kitchen. Security day and night. Having privacy.

Still in mid air, I hadn't landed as yet in Johannesburg to catch my connecting flight to Cape Town when an email was sent "Property's message" with house rules etc only to see that I am required to "purchase electricity"? Which I feel is a tad sneaky. On the Booking.com website it did not state anything about having to use your OWN Netflix Account either. If all of this was posted on the website, I wouldn't have booked this cottage. The entire cottage was smelly as well as the closet. It smelled as if it hadn't been aired for months. and the bedding smelled like body odour. I did try to air the cottage and closet but to no avail. I kept my clothing in my suitcase for the duration of my stay. The first eve I slept in the bed as it was freezing, had no other alternative. The following day I drove to the Mall and purchased a new blanket, pillow & pillowcase and slept the rest of the time on the sofa. Therefore I decided not to extend my stay and booked into another establishment.

Prompt, professional communication with the host Angela Clark. Very comfortable and spacious apartment. Kitchen well equipped and bathroom huge with lovely bath and shower. Outside deck an added bonus. Great value all round. Easy access to N1 and nearby facilities. This place is a gem compared to most places where you get a small room with bed and kettle at greater cost.

Beautiful cottage and great host.

The space is a large open, light & airy area & the hostess was very accommodating. They even provided an office chair on request. The bath was a real treat! The place has all one needs for self-catering.

The mattress on the bed was not very comfortable. It was saggy on both sides of the King size bed.
