The host meets you and they are very warm and welcoming, everything is explained in detail and you are made to feel instantly at home. I was in fact early and they rushed over to get me access to the apartment, There was a complimentary bottle of wine awaiting too, which I thought was very nice of them. Everything you could need is provided in the apartment so you can just relax if you want to or you can go explore their beautiful town.

The only issue I had was with travel in the morning, I was working about 5 miles from the property and a couple of times i was let down by Uber, so it is advisable you book them earlier than you need in case they decide to cancel your trip, with it being a small town about 25-30 mins from Lisbon, some Uber drivers accept the job and cancel if they feel it is not worth their time. You just have to keep trying until they are nearer and see it as a viable contract between you, I understand their thought process but it is a little frustrating, I would 100% not let that stop me staying here though, its a minor issue.
