Great location right by the river. Very calm area. Nothing around.

The walls are not closed so there’s a constant draft of cold air passing through. The bed is a thin mattress on the floor. No heater but instead a big thick blanket.

If you are looking to submerge yourself in the dreamy country side of Vietnam you are looking at the right place. I spent a total of 4 nights at this wonderful homestay, close to the waterfalls and the villages around it.

The staff and owner were so helpful. One of the staff also took me to the Ban Gioc on his motorbike. Friendly person he is. Lots of dogs and cats. The garden is beautiful and has an outside seating area too. This homestay is surrounded by the most beautiful landscape. The food was good only if you gave them prior notice. Make sure you confirm the price for each service they give you (because they charge more).

They charged me for the motorbike which I didn't even use.

Amazing views, so peaceful and super friendly staff. I was there during the week, there weren’t many guests and I got an extra bungalow for no extra cost. It’s about 7km from the waterfall but it’s easy to take the bus to get there or to Cao Bang city.

place is nice but far from the waterfall, was cold and the room in the main building wasn’t isolated well. good meal but bit expensive
