APARTMENT RAFAELLO

Basement location of the flat was great, it was a cold place in the hot weather, aircondition worked. Hosts were kind and helpful.

We missed complete cuttlery for 4 persons, there were no tea mugs in the kitchen, the floor wasn´t wiped out well. There was no washing mashine or dryer even though it has been announced in the property information.

1BR apartment #3 Has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen is well equipped and modern, Bathroom also clean and new. Bedroom is big and has plenty of space for storage of personal items. Big window in the salon looks out to the sitting-garden, letting in light making the space expand to outdoors. We came with our cat and he also enjoyed going out and exploring the garden (we keep him on leash for walks)

We loved everything about the property.

Fully furnished apartment, and well equipped kitchen. Close to popular attractions and good restaurants. Elvis was an amazing host, very friendly and welcoming.

No window in one of the bedrooms. Not much sofa-space

We were completely blown away by Apartment Raffaello from the minute that we moved in! We got Apartment 3, with a terrace, huge bedroom (with huge, comfortable bed included), and overall a very modern and cozy interior. The apartment is very well equipped, and comes with a small terrace where you could have your coffee and enjoy some fresh air, and possibly even sunbathe. Parking is also very easy right in front of the apartment. The main boulevard along the Portoroz seaside is 5 minutes away (downhill, but not too bad), and you could find a supermarket and multiple restaurants immediately as you get to the boulevard. Free beaches are about 15 minutes away (further walk along the seaside to get there.) We also discovered public transport along the seaside, all the way to Piran, very accessible and easy to use. Our host, Elvis, was really friendly and generous, I can only commend his hospitality! We will definitely consider staying in this apartment if we visit Portoroz again!

The flat could use a bit of renovation (shower, wet spot in the bedroom).

Fully equipped apartment, Elvis even got us things to cook with (noodles, gluten free after he noticed that one of us can eat only gluten free), extra blanket and cleaning equipment when we asked for it. Advice for future travelers: if you need something, don't hesitate to ask! Also, there's a beautiful view from the living room!

There was nothing really bad, only a few minor annoyances. It seems that the apartment has been renovated recently, and a few things were still work in progress, such as curtains on the bedroom window. We were told that something happened that had to be fixed right before we arrived, so we arrived later, and Elvis recommended us a place for dinner until he can finish fixing and cleaning everything. What you might want to keep in mind is that the building is about 10 minutes walk from the sea, and the roads in the area in general are quite steep, so if you come by car, you need to be comfortable driving steep roads and parking in more difficult places. The apartment also has steep stairs but in turn you have a wonderful view from the hill!
