Apartments Violeta

Top of a very steep hill which was difficult to drive up and we got taxis home but beautiful views and really helpful host. Great value for money.

The view from the apartment is an absolute gem! The place is sitting a bit on top of the city, so it comes with a perk of this incredible terrace. That also means a little hike up the hill, which makes it unsuitable for walking for those with any walking disabilities. Easy free parking on any spot adjacent to the building. Check in and check out was super smooth, everything done via booking.com messages.

Wasn't the cleanest apartament I've visited, so some extra care could go a long way to make this stay absolutely perfect.

Stayed in Vila Violeta for 4 nights in October. The host is lovely, very friendly and accommodating, Violeta allowed us to check in a bit earlier and also wait for our airport transfer after checkout. The room is clean and overall has everything you will need. The wall facing the sea is one huge window, so you are always treated with the stunning view. And the view IS stunning. The location is uphill, if you have a car, it's not a big deal, but if you walk, it will be a bit of a workout. However, you will definitely need the workout after all the delicious food you eat. Overall, it is a great place to stay, great value for its money.

Although the apartment wasn't too far from the town centre, it was up a very steep hill which may make it difficult for those who are less mobile unless they use a taxi. We walked but it was quite steep.

The main highlight was the hospitality of the host, we got wonderful recommendations and they were so friendly. Also, the views were absolutely incredible and the apartment was big and comfortable. The amenities in the kitchen were just what we needed and the terrace was perfect for having a relaxing time watching the sunset.

If you don't want to rely on taxis or cars during your holidays, notice that the apartment is in a very hilly area and it won't be a pleasant walk back from the beach/old town. But we managed it and the views were worthy
