You need to know what you are heading for, it's a very secluded house. No internet, no shops, no water pressure, but it's ok in this location. The whole place was clean, the bed was comfortable. The family is nice, open and helpful, I recommend to contact them

Super Kontakt schon im Vorfeld per WhatsApp. Muslim hat die Transfers von und nach Panjakent und anschließend weiter nach Khujand bestens organisiert. Alles sauber und gemütlich, wir hatten sehr nette Leute als Mitgäste, das war beim gemeinsamen Frühstück und Abendessen natürlich toll. Man kann auf eigene Faust bis zum 6. oder 7. See wandern, oder mit Guide auch größere Touren machen, am besten vorher schon mal anfragen.

Location is very nice. Staff is friendly while you are there. Facilities are what you’d expect.

There was no electricity for about 4 hours. Beds are very hard. We arranged everything ourselved, beforehand we got a lot of messages offering stuff which was a bit annoying. They even asked what we paid for the things we arranged which wasn’t appropriate

The staff were very very kind and helpful with some logistics in the weeks leading up to our stay. The house is nice with comfortable rooms. The eating areas overlooking the river are nice. It is 80 Somoni for lunch and for dinner, which are extra. Room includes only breakfast.

2 tour buses arrived shortly after us with about 24 people on a young adults trip. The place became very crowded and noisy after this. Another guest had to come out and tell them late at night that the “party was over.” There was limited shower and bathroom availability for this number of people.

My wife and I enjoyed our overnight stay at this peaceful and well-managed guest house. It is centrally located in the Seven Lakes area, ideal for exploring this beautiful mountain valley. Our host Muslim was very welcoming and took excellent care of us. We booked a private room with shared bathroom, which was fine; all shared facilities are kept very clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this remote area of Tajikistan, and I definitely recommend this guest house for exploring the surrounding mountains.

Jumaboy is a remote mountain guest house, and as a consequence some of the facilities are more basic than what you would expect in bigger towns. For instance, bed linnen is basic and water pressure in the shower was low. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of.
