Triangle Woodhouse

It was the most expensive we paid for accommodation in our PoB trek and we don't believe it lived up to its price and hype (it was one of the first guesthouses established in the trail, so it is traditionally popular among hikers). Food was good, but their pricing, booking system and room management left much to be desired and we felt we overpaid our stay. Tidiness of the house and the check-in process were also not ideal. Most of the staff there are from a workaway program, and even though they seem nice people, they all looked recently arrived, the service was not well organised. It also bothered us that the washing machine, just below our bedroom, kept running until 11.30 pm. Worth noting that there is no WiFi connection available there (although I don't know if that's a reality for the entire village). We passed new guesthouses arriving in Babino Polja that seemed to offer much better value for money.

Staying at this guest house was an absolute treat. The food was superb—fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. What truly made the experience stand out was the incredibly kind and attentive staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It was a warm, relaxing, and thoroughly enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

Super welcome by work-away staff and shutters on the windows, rather than flimsy curtains, so had a good night's sleep.

Facilities listed a washing machine - we'd hoped to be able to wash our clothes - but this wasn't available as it was constantly stuffed with bedding. The price is for the room - dinner, breakfast and tax are extra. The bathroom is shared, by everyone. There's no WiFI.
