Westlake Apartment

The location was perfect for my needs. The apartment looked exactly like the photos. It was very clean, modern, and well-equipped. It was also very quiet.

The apartment had an unpleasant smell, perhaps from something cooked by the previous occupant. The smell dissipated over time. The unit was accessed through a bizarre basement and laundry room. It was not welcoming, especially at night. Being in the basement, the unit didn't get much natural light and had insufficient lighting, except in the kitchen. There was a large TV, but it only worked if the renter signed in with his/her personal subscriptions. Parking was on a lawn off the driveway and was very inconvenient. It was not possible to have a guest, since there was insufficient parking space. In rainy or snowy weather parking would be precarious.
