AUTHENTIC HOMESTAY

We had a fantastic trip to the Mekong Delta, exploring less touristy places and staying with a genuine, warm Vietnamese family. The host spent a lot of time with us, taking us to delicious lunches and dinners, and we learned so much about life in Vietnam. His family is wonderful—his wife, children, and in-laws are all incredibly kind and welcoming. It was an unforgettable experience, and we felt right at home!

The 'lake view in the mountains' turned out to be... a wallpaper mural! I guess technically it's still a 'room with a view'—just a bit more 2D than expected! Just a joke! everything was perfect!

Jimmy and his family are very kind and helpful. Nice and clean accommodation in local area. Jimmy also provides Mekong delta tours, which was a great experience.

I stayed in this homestay one night. Jimmy is an amazing host, ready to help you with every single thing. He is a local tour guide, one of the best, so he can give you very good advice about what to do in Can Tho and all this Mekong Delta area. I totally recommend Jimmy and his cute homestay.

Had a great stay here! Jimmy and his family are very kind and great hosts! Got to learn a lot about the Can Tho, got some great food and went on an amazing boat tour! Room is nice and clean. Wish I could have stayed longer and would definitely recommend!!

Jimmy is super passionate about his job! Not only he gave us great food& activity recommendations for Can Tho, he also told us a lot about the life in vietnam… We especially enjoyed our bike tour, ask him about that, and also where to have lunch ;) We would totally come back to this place.

We had an amazing time staying there. Jimmy and his family are such kind and helpful people, we felt very much at home. Jimmy showed us great places to eat in Can Tho and we learned a lot from him about Vietnam. The beds are very comfortable, everything is clean and the neighbourhood is very calm. Jimmy and his family are super nice! They welcomed us very warmly into their home, which is cosy and convenient as it is just a grab away from Can Tho city and yet out of the urban chaos. The room and bathroom are comfortable and clean with all amenities (including air conditioner and ventilator). Jimmy, as manager of Mekong Experience, organised a nice half-day tour for us, which included a wander around one of the floating markets, a visit to a family-run noodle factory, and then a boat ridealong the river of the Spring Forest where there was plenty of birds of different species, and the rice harvest was in progress. Perhaps the pace of the different activities was a bit tight but overall it was a really good experience, not least because Jimmy was really dedicated (before, after and during the tour) to make us eat typical dishes in non-touristy places, which is something we really appreciate! The best place was a little diner in the middle of the countryside, where we arrived by bike, again thanks to Jimmy who arranged the bike rental for us and gave us directions to this family-run niche along the river. In short, we had a great time! Thanks again Jimmy!
