The host and the family were so friendly and accommodating, it felt like home. The cottage is so clean and neat. Parking is safe and the area is so quiet.. Will definitely book again!

Bed linen was clean

I stayed at this guesthouse over the weekend, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. I checked in on Saturday, but housekeeping only came around on Monday to change the linen and bring fresh towels — no cleaning was done, no dishes were washed, and even the small mat in front of the bed wasn’t straightened out. There was mould on the silicone around the bathtub, which was unpleasant. A water leak occurred during my stay, which I understand was beyond their control, but it took until Tuesday night for them to bring a 5-litre bottle of water. The property listing mentions free toiletries, but I didn’t see any. There was also no additional toilet paper provided. When I raised these issues with the owner, he mentioned that it was supposed to be a full-service guesthouse — but it certainly didn’t feel that way. Honestly, it felt more like I was staying in someone’s backyard, where they decided to make some extra money without putting in the effort to provide a proper guesthouse experience. The owner did at least call to check in regarding the water situation, but overall, the service was disappointing and very minimal. I expected more attention to detail and better upkeep considering the listing’s description.
