Springsteen Cabins

An amazing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A beautiful, quiet and relaxing setting. The cabin was very clean and tidy. Had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The fireplace works exceptionally well for Winter. Would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a tranquil escape.

This was quite literally one of the best trips I've ever taken. Their concierge services takes care of literally everything you could need or want, and were so intentional in making sure everything was perfect and on time. They were incredibly attentive. The freshly baked bread was a gift from heaven, and the local was perfect for grilling. Every detail was thought through. The fire place. The outdoor shower. The epic views. The quiet. The hot tub. The grill. The privacy. The location. The perfect hosts. Nothing was missing! I will definitely be back without a doubt!

Absolutely everything was perfect which is truly unbelievable to say these days.

The property was beautiful and looked exactly as advertised,

The gas braai ran out of gas half way through cooking our meal. Had to resort to finishing it in the kitchen. Not the owners fault, but before we arrived we were informed that the bathroom door was broken off by the previous guests and that there was no time to fix it. The day we booked in happened to be extremely hot, I was unable to move the umbrella onto the deck as it was too heavy. There was also rubbish in refuse bags left at he back of the cabin, halfway through the eve one could hear something going through them. It is a farm stay, but from a tranquil, quiet off the grid point of view, it was not private at all. We were unfortunately subjected to what sounded like a charismatic church sermon from 4pm which then transitioned into a party from neighboring residents on the farm which lasted through the night. Not to knit pick, there was no net and brush to clean out the hot tub from insects as well as previous guests ash and coals floating in the tub. What irritated me the most was having no gas on the braai. If we had stayed longer then I guess I would contacted the owner to replenish. It baffles me that there is no gas level gauge on the gas bottle, inevitably it is going to run out and probably with a guest. If one was ruffing it up with the boys then you could overlook these things easily. However there is a premium asking price on this property per night which makes it unforgiving for these small things to be overlooked.
