Heritage Apartment

Alison is the most wonderful host you can imagine.She answered all my emails in advance,I called her from the Airport and she was waiting for us in the apartment.Warm-hearted and welcoming.We felt immediately at home,a nice sleeping room with a make-up table corner,a shower corner,a small toilette,two hidden corners for the luggage,a comfortable living room with antique furniture,an old gramophone,books,a small kitchen,a Nespresso mashine,a water cattle,etc. We had to climb up the stairs and we emerged into the heart of Valletta full of restaurants,Cafés,shops and bars…the street is quiet and a minute walk away from a pretty garden with a beautiful view to the Harbour and The Three Cities. We highly recommend!

Alison is very professional and courteous. She has a wonderful place that has an ambiance of local historic charm. Definitely memorable.

Traditional Maltese architecture, spacious and clean appartment settled in a walking distance to Kingsway, main bus station and Three cities ferry. Fabulous and communicative hosts.

The apartment had been finished and decorated with quality and flair. It was very comfortable and had everything needed for a stay. The location was perfect being just a few steps away from the main areas. Our host made sure that we had all the information needed and gave us a recommendation for a restaurant which proved to be excellent.

We loved all the history & stone. The apartment was exactly like the photos provided & the layout also worked for us. Alison was excellent & answered our questions within minutes. We had an issue with our heater remote & she delivered a replacement at our convenience. The apartment location was perfect. Close to the ferry, bus departures, Upper & Lower Barrakka, restaurants, shopping, museums, etc. We walked everywhere in Valletta…only took buses to Mdina & Hagar Qim & ferries to Gozo & the Three Cities. Alison’s husband also operates a wonderful restaurant within blocks of the apartment. His food was beautiful & delicious (we went twice!). All in all, our stay at the apartment totally enhanced our Valletta vacation!

It could have been a bit lighter. Because of the age of the building, there were only two main windows & a smaller one. We knew this when we rented it & opted for history over more windows. Alison also has many many lights in the apartment too.
