Roundhouse Sipalay

WiFi with no extra charge, large bedroom with split aircon, clean bedrooms and bathrooms, soap and toilet rolls provided, proximity to the beach, which was clean and child friendly, friendly staff, onsite sari-sari store, use of kitchen (basic camp style kitchen, but with gas stove), kitchen equipment, and use of dining wares. Overall, our stay felt like a glamping experience, with the added bonus of a beach location. We didn't need to leave the site because there was sari sari store available, and the family that lives on site and runs the resort were very approachable and friendly.

No aircon or CR in 3rd bedroom -> so didn't use it. Aircon in other room combined with moisture of bamboo construction gave off that mouldy aircon smell, overly firm mattress, charged car parking (P150), high prices of things (perhaps Sipalay norm, but don't know). Stars are deducted because of value for money. It felt expensive compared with other places like Siquijor or Cebu. Perhaps high prices are normal for Sipalay. Charging separately for car parking feels petty.

Super nice people. Rooms were rustic but air con and very clean. We got bumped up to a bigger room with a great view of the ocean. Low price and good food.

The grounds needed some tidying up. There are lots of RH bottles around and need to improve walkways.
