Breathtaking Views

From a small driveway we were met by a nice house, but then you go inside and OMG..... wow ... the place is huge, luxurious and indeed, breathtaking. Five comfortable bedrooms, a stunning view. And the host was fantastic, we had a question about the TV, and received an immediate response, just surpurb. An amazing home that took the breath from our extended French family. Face timed around the world. Thank you.

Nothing

We loved the location and views from the kitchen and lounge. It does have a light, summery, airy feel with comfortable decor and accessories. It was a shame we had a cloudy, cold day during our stay so only enjoyed the balcony experience for a short time. A beach home in the middle of winter was a treat. It was roomy for our party of six. The heater in the main living area upstairs and the sitting area downstairs worked a treat. The extra doona helped in one of the cold rooms downstairs. There was no microwave so we prepared food accordingly. Although the driveway has a steepish curve to it, we managed to get our 8 seater down there and had the passengers get in at the top of the driveway.

We had to leave early the next day so missed the sunrise experience over Lake Taupo.

Views were fabulous and beds were comfortable

No tea/coffe/milk. Some lightbulbs not working. Washing machine not working properly. Outdoor cushions had been left outside so very wet and couldn’t sit out there.

This property was so nice, it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We will be very keen to return.

Beautiful views, very comfortable

The driveway is a little steep and awkward, but fine if you have four wheel drive.

The location was perfect. The view was amazing. The house was spacious. We travelled to compete at a netball tournament held at the Taupō Events centre so it was nice to go home and just unwind where everyone had their own space.

It would have been perfect if there was a microwave. We pre-cooked our meals because by the time we finished out games it was late. By doing this it meant we could save time and just reheat them. Unfortunately we had to throw whatever we didn’t eat out because once reheated you can’t reheat it again. At least with a microwave you could take what you can eat and reheat and nothing goes to waste.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful home. The views were absolutely stunning, and the place was peaceful and spacious. The pictures honestly don’t do it justice! It was even better in person. A perfect spot to unwind and relax. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway.

Some of the rooms were quite cold at night. Having a few portable heaters or an electric blanket available would really help, especially during the colder months. But overall, these were minor things and didn’t take away from a great stay.

The views are indeed breathtaking :) The location was very convenient. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short family holiday. We’d be happy to stay here again and would recommend it to others.

The photos dont do this place justice! most amazing views, more space then you would need. everything was super clean and modern. Would recomend to everyone going to Acacia Bay.
