Goodluck Homestead

The Vineyard Cottage was incredible, we loved the look and design of the unit perched above the farm and vineyard. The hot tub was amazing after the day and add to the relaxing atmosphere of the place, with the mountains in the background. Ronnie, one of the farm dogs also came to say hi which was the best! Standford town is a short drive [20min] where we had our meals and got food supplies. We also went over to Panthera, a big cat sanctuary which is 1km away which was a great addition to our trip. Tabby also gifted us some fresh farm produce which was really appreciated!

Incredible setting, and beautiful property. Very friendly hosts and they immersed us right into farm life.

The bed is quite hard and the pillows quite flat, but this did not detract from our stay, we loved it.

Nothing short of perfection- the property was so thoughtfully constructed by the owners to fit into the landscape and not take more from the land than it needs. Everything from the landscaping to the furnishing was wonderful. The outdoor area was fabulous (hot tub and braai), with the best view we’ve ever had from a property. Inside there was a super comfy, huge bed, plenty of places to relax and a very well appointed bathroom. The kitchen provided everything we needed during our stay and the large fridge/freezer was super handy. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout to make our stay extra comfortable. We loved the fresh produce left for us; granola, fruit, veg and fresh milk was such a treat and made us feel very welcome on arrival. Plus very friendly and responsive hosts. 10/10!
