ZAThe location is amazing! More like a fairytale garden around the whole property. The tranquility and serenity is what we really needed to wind down!
The solar electricity failed in the morning due to an overcast morning, but the we were directed on how to switch to the grid electricity. Also the absence of the microwave oven might be a bit of a challenge for self catering.
ZAThe cottage is perfect for a break from the world - quiet, secluded, well laid out. Kitchen has everything you need to fully self cater, fireplace works like a charm, entire property is beautiful.
ZAKhayalethu was quiet, secluded and beautiful. We could only imagine what the extensive garden must look like in spring and summer. We took many walks within the property, enjoying the diversity of plants. We also enjoyed a well-maintained, beautiful 3 km loop path that took us along the edge of the forest and valley. The north-facing cottage was lovely, and we enjoyed soaking up the sun on the veranda.
The addition of comfortable garden furniture would have been appreciated

The unit had no broom as we wanted to sweep The unit has a portable braai which meant up and down the stairs to braai although the cottage has a built in braai on the stoep
